The FCI-kennel „Funstuff“ was founded by Claudia Berchtold in 2004 with it’s first litter being born in 2009. From 2018 on, there’s a permanent cooperation with Claudia Stark.

Our Dogs live with us in our house where also the puppies of our litters are born. From the very beginning they have close contact to us and our families.

As soon as they are old enough the puppies meet many different people and have various experiences in the puppy garden.

We have always tried to breed interresting combinations in order to produce healthy Flat Coated Retrievers that fullfill the breed standard in type and temperament.

We do believe, that we have the duty to give our dogs the best and happiest life possible.

We try to train all our dogs according to their talents.

We have the power to influence our dogs‘ lives. We can train them and give them our love or we can ignore them and use them as breeding machines.

Our dogs – however – always will answer by giving us all their love.

We try to be aware of this responsibility every day.
